Royalty Program - Getting Paid for My Courses

About the Royalty Program

All Instructors are automatically enrolled into the Royalty Program. However, in order to receive any payments, your account must be in good standing and you must have a PayPal Account. Without a PayPal account, you will not receive payments for your courses. All Royalties are paid to your PayPal account.

Invested Pro members pay a subscription fee to have access to your courses. They are granted access to all courses on the plan they sign up for. Therefore, a percentage of the subscription membership (Royalty amount) is shared with the instructors each month as part of the Royalty Program.

Royalties are paid out to the instructors each month based on the prior months results as described below.

30% of Net Subscription Revenue is paid to the instructors each month (Royalty Amount)
Payments are determined based on the number of minutes watched on the platform each month (Including Free Trials). Your allocation of the minutes for each of your courses is mostly what determines your Royalty payment.
- Courses on the higher plans (Pro Plus and Premium Plans) receive a higher dollar amount for the minutes watched. This higher amount includes the additional revenue paid for the higher plans (at the same 30% of Net Subscription Revenue). This additional revenue is included in your payment based on the minutes watched across all courses on the plan your course is assigned to.
As a generic example, if your courses have 7% of all the minutes watched on the Invested Pro platform in a given month, then you will receive 7% of all the minutes allocated. If your course is on a higher tier plan, then the amount allocated to you for the 7% will include the additional Royalties for the courses you had on a higher plan.

Minimum Requirements

Here are the minimum requirements to receive a payment in a month. Note that neither minutes watched nor balances will carry forward into future months. At the end of the month, if you do not meet these requirements, then you will not receive a payment for the month.

You must have setup and linked your PayPal account to Invested Pro. To link your account, navigate to Settings -> Withdraw and add in your PayPal email address. Click Save.
You must have a minimum of 30 minutes of video lessons watched across your courses in the month

Additional Rules - Split Courses

If you share a course with another instructor, only one instructor is paid for the course. You will need to have your own separate arrangement outside of Invested Pro with the other instructor on splitting your earnings.
