Course Announcements / Messaging - Guidelines

Course announcements are intended for educational purposes and can be used under the following circumstances.

Allowed Circumstances

• You wish to notify members of an update to your course, such as a live workshop or a new video lesson
• You have additional educational resources to share with your student members (you must follow the link policy in all announcements and messages)
• You have an upcoming Live Lesson on your course and wish to notify all members on your course as a reminder

All communication must be made with good intention and follow our community guidelines.

Disallowed Circumstances

• You may not use announcements or messages to sell a product or service
• You may not include links to a landing pages or affiliate links in your announcements or messages
• You may not request or collect any personal information or money from members (directly or indirectly through another website or form)
• You may not use announcements to promote your other courses listed on Invested Pro. 
  • However, we do have one exception to this rule. Invested Pro will allow an announcement one time to the members on your course if you publish a NEW course. Sending an announcement for a course that is already listed on the platform is not permitted.

Any of the above disallowed circumstances are considered a violation of our Policy. The policies above also apply to the instructor feedback areas of the app (quizzes, assignments, Q&A, Zoom) and also the trader forums.
