Using the forums
Forums
The Traders Exchange forums are available to members of the Pro Plus plan and above and offer another avenue to discuss ideas and learn from other members and instructors on the Invested Pro platform. By joining Invested Pro, you automatically gain access to the forums and these forums can only be accessed when you are logged into your account.
To quickly find what you are looking for, the topics are broken into categories similar to the course categories and into the following 4 buckets:
- Day Trading
- Cryptocurrencies
- Investing
- Bonds
Community Rules
It's recommended to first read through the different forums to get a feel for the types of questions and responses that are being provided. Instructors will also be using the forums to engage with members and offer advice from time to time. Here are a few basic rules to follow when using the forums:
- Be sure to post your questions in the correct spot or they may be removed by the forum moderators
- Additionally, comments to a question must remain on topic
- All comments and questions must follow the Forum Guidelines listed out below
- You may upvote or downvote once per question or answer
- If your question has been answered, you are responsible for marking it closed
- When adding tags to your question, follow these rules so your question doesn't get buried and never answered:
If adding a new tag, make sure it's general and that it's not overly specific- Good example: Stock Options
- Bad Example: Tesla Call Options
- First see if the tag already exists before adding a new one (too many tags is cumbersome and makes it harder to find questions)
- If your question is specific to something you learned in a course, ask the instructor instead of posting it in the forum
Forum Code of Conduct
The forums are designed as a learning and collaboration tool where members and instructors can converse and share information about the financial and crypto markets. It's an additional educational resource for members to discuss and iron out strategies and ideas. Therefore, it's highly important that it remains that way and it's why we have created theses guidelines.
The following guidelines apply to all members and instructors using the Traders Exchange Forums.
- Be courteous, respectful, professional, and polite to your fellow members
- All questions and answers must be related to Trading and Investing.
- Do not attempt to pump a low volume stock (particularly penny stocks)
- You may attach image files no greater than 3MB
- You may add links to other questions on the forum or courses on the Invested Pro platform if they are directly related to the topic or question
- You may not add links to outside sources at this time
- You may not use the forums to promote outside products or services
- No shameless plugs allowed
- You must follow the community guidelines at all times
Invested Pro has moderators that regularly review comments and posts, however, it cannot be guaranteed that our moderators will find all violations. Therefore, we have made it easy to report a violation if you think a post does not follow the intent and spirit of the Invested Pro forums.
To report a violation, click on the report icon underneath the message and fill out the form on why you believe the post is in violation. We will review and either ask the user to remove their post or remove it from our end. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or removal.
Privacy
By using the forums, you agree to our privacy policy and terms of service. Any information or files you post, share, or distribute are immediately accessible by other members and instructors on the Invested Pro platform. Your profile also becomes accessible by other members, which may include your name and username as well as the general statistics regarding your use of the forums (such as number of posts, comments, ratings, likes, when you are online, etc.). Your use of the forums constitutes your full agreement with our privacy policy and terms of service.
Navigation
To navigate the forums, we don't recommend using the back button on your browser. All information is quickly accessible using the breadcrumb menu at the top of the forum. This allows you to quickly and easily navigate through the topics and questions. 
New Topics
The topics are set based on the learning available on the Invested Pro platform. If you wish to add a new topic, get in contact with us and let us know what topic you want to add.
