Live Zoom Lessons
Attending Live Lessons
Some courses on Invested Pro offer live lessons using Zoom. To attend any of the live webinars, you will need to access Zoom using the meeting ID and password that is provided. Anyone attending a live lessons is expected to follow the community guidelines at all times and be respectful, considerate, and polite toward everyone on the meeting.
When attending a Live lesson, it is imperative to follow the instructors directions and keep all your comments and questions specifically related to the topics being discussed.
Some helpful guidelines include:
- Leave all questions to the end of the training session
- Use the chat or raise hand feature to ask questions
- Be considerate of everyone else's time when asking questions or looking for feedback
- Be direct in your questioning and keep your questions concise
- Wait for others to finish speaking before you begin
- For effective discussions, provide your ideas and relevant experience, and also be sure to keep an open mind with others ideas and opinions
Zoom Account
If you plan on attending live classes, it is important to enter your Zoom email address under settings. This will allow us to give credit to the instructor for their live meetings. Our Zoom integration determines if someone from Invested Pro attended the lesson, and therefore, will properly credit the instructors account for their time.
We do not share any information through the Zoom integration, but our systems are able to determine if someone from Invested Pro attended the Zoom meeting based on the email address used. No personally identifiable information is shared with anyone (including the instructors). Using a Zoom account with a matching email address or entering your Zoom email address in the Zoom field, helps us in ensuring the instructors are compensated for their live courses. Add to Calendar
Underneath the Live lesson zoom details is an Add to Calendar link. This allows you to select a personal or work calendar to easily calendar the event. In order to add the event to most calendars, you will first need to copy the event details and then paste them into the calendar summary or description field.
Be sure to use this feature to ensure you don't forget about an upcoming lesson.
Live Lesson Notifications
If you are enrolled in the course, you will receive a notification when a live lesson is scheduled and added to the class. This includes both an email notification and an in-app notification. Be sure to enable the email notification for Live Lessons if you wish to hear about upcoming live courses. The in-app notifications are accessible by clicking the bell icon on the top right of your screen. Be sure to check any new notifications.

Additionally, all Live lessons are displayed on the course overview page and in the course viewer. You can either join by clicking one of the options below or copying the ID into Zoom that will be located under the meeting counter on every Zoom lesson.

All courses that have upcoming live lessons can be found from the course listing page. Filter on the Live Lessons to see which classes might interest you.
